On Wednesday morning, I was notified that MVT: Most Valuable Tweeters has a new location: Yahoo! Sports. SportsFanLive.com and Yahoo! Sports have combined to form ThePostGame.com, an online sports magazine designed to be similar to print magazines like Sports Illustrated and ESPN the Magazine (Read the New York Times article). Yahoo! Sports hopes to use the site as a complement to its more “newsy” traditional site. Many of the Yahoo! Sports’s blog writers have already moved over to the ThePostGame.com.
Anyway, what I’m getting at is that I happened to write an MVT on the same day that the first issue of the ThePostGame.com came out. Below are the first three tweets that appeared in the article:
“Crazy. Karma is a b****.. Gets you every time. Its not good to wish bad on anybody. God sees everything!”
How I See It: First of all, don’t get all spiritual, LeBron. God is not making the Cavs have a bad season. The team got screwed over when its homegrown kid left after the Cavs had invested every dollar over seven seasons into his happiness. And secondly, if karma really is a b****, then why would you talk smack about the Cavs right here on your Twitter account, in front of the entire nation. God sees everything, you know …
“I love the jets and will do anything to stay here. I need the jet nation to speak on my behalf”
How I See It: They can’t. Your coach won’t shut up.
How I See It: Don’t hate on Nenad Kristic’s defense like that.
